Mr. Joe Abruzzo
Mr. Abruzzo attended the Academy of Aeronautics and RCA Institute where he majored in both aeronautical engineering and computer business studies, respectively. For the past 35 years Joe held senior management positions in Information Technology for multiple companies and was a Corporate Officer at US Airways.
At US Airways Joe managed 500+ staff in developing software products in support of the company’s objectives. Also, he played key roles in managing the acquisition and integration of computer operations for acquired airlines such as Piedmont and PSA.
At United Airlines he managed a world-wide staff of 400+ in the acquisition, implementation and maintenance of all computer hardware and software in support of United’s worldwide operation.
One of Joe’s major accomplishments while at United for which he was recognized by the highest level of management is when he took on the responsibility to develop a Computer Reservation System (CRS) for United Airlines Partner Airlines.
Throughout his career Joe has been recognized for many major accomplishments both within corporate management and community services.
Mr. Abruzzo is the CEO of Oceanic-Creations USA with responsibility for both North & Central Americas as well as for Hawaii and the Caribbean.
